This San Francisco rain is literally driving San Francisco mad! No walks in the park, no strolls in Union Square, no walks on the beach…what is San Francisco to do? The only option for the rain is to make a dash for it and dine in! The rain isn’t leaving many options and shopping really isn’t on the agenda! Who wants to walk around from shop to shop, drenched in this chilling rain and carry those flooded shopping bags? The answer to most consumers is, not me! What about a table for two, a table for infinity or just a table for Uno? Sounds pretty nice, doesn’t it? Well, Parada is flaming up the kitchen for brunch at 9am! So waiting to leave the house for those early birds shouldn’t be a problem, if one is craving for something warm! Parada and Booglaoos have put their heads together and decided; why not offer the goods to San Francisco’s Haight area for a change. Sometimes traveling to the Mission isn’t on the agenda, since one might have left the Mission last night, for a couple of playful cocktails. And nothing is better after that cabin fever itch or that late rendezvous, than an early bird brunch and Mimosa! Scoot those slippers over to Parada and scoot onto the first seat available and order up! P.S. To all you late-nighters, we recommend something hearty, such as the Temple O’ Spuds, exactly what the doctor ordered!

Rise and shine Parada 22 lovers! It’s time to strap on those Prada’s and strut on over to our little gem in the rough this morning! Yes, it might be early, but you will definitely beat the crowds of other brunch wanna-be’s and satisfy your appetite in Parada today! Brunch starts at 9am, unlike the rest of the late sleeper restaurants, which start at 10/10:30am. Apparently, they didn’t get the memo that some early bird risers actually like to have brunch before 11am and that’s why the stoves have been fired up for you! Now off that note, the buzz on the web and in San Francisco, is to surely devour yourself into their drenched Italian, herb gravy biscuit, which is off of, San Francisco’s, Boogaloos menu. Don’t forget the trimmings of fresh cut green onions are sprinkled on top of that mouth watering biscuit, but if one hates onions, have no fear, we can toss them out! Parada wants to satisfy that appetite and that tummy, so if one needs a little something dashed out of a certain dish, let them know. They are here to serve and satisfy! Don’t forget about the complimentary Mimosa for you, when one walks through that door, everyone needs a little kick for their morning delight!

Well, it’s spring training for our favorite 2010 champions, the San Francisco Giants! During their training, they will need to fuel up and hopefully we will see them back for seconds at our home plate! But besides that, they aren’t the only ones that need to fuel up for some authentic dishes! San Franciscan’s need to strap on those Prada’s or running shoes and make it a run for it, like Forrest would and devour their faces into our Puerto Rican cuisine. If one is remotely clueless about Parada’s type of cuisine, you might not to get the memo on what they offer and how those taste buds respond to the stimuli. For starters, how about sautéed caramelized onions drenched on a bed of sirloins steak? Well, if that intrigues that appetite, then order the Biftec Encebollado and a chilled Negro Modelo to finish off those taste buds. If that doesn’t really catch your eye and vegetarian options are your only choice, Parada has that under control. How about this? Do plantains usually appeal to those eyes on the menu? To most populated cities, plantains are encouraged to any type of eating machines. Try Parada’s Mofongo de Camarones, which is fresh green plantains, mashed with veggie Sofrito and Camarones a la Criolla. And if that still leaves one questionable on what that exactly is, then come into Parada today and find out for yourself, what the entire buzz is about!

Oh Parada, when will one be able to sip on a cool one and devour a Cuban sandwich? When will the waiting stop? Has anyone had one of those work weeks, where it’s only day two of the work week and it’s just not cutting it? Well, everyone has had one of those weeks and it seems like nothing can satisfy you. Well, that’s why Parada 22 is parked in the heart of the Haight, nestled beside Cha Cha Cha and is waiting for you to park it! The stoves are fired up, the chef is ready and the staff is ready to place in your order! Well, that’s why Parada can give you a little push and shove and suggest a little remedy for you! Here’s for starters; if it’s lunch you are attending, then maybe something quick for that one hour lunch break! So place all your bets in and bet on a Cubano Clasico, which comes with baby greens, for that healthy sidekick of the day and something cool to wet that whistle. Beer might not be on the agenda until after work hours, so just stick with your non-alcoholic beverages and focus on the crème de la crème….the Cubano sandwich. It’s the food you’re here for, right? If one wants more detailed info on the food, you have to keep coming back for more! Parada can’t unravel everything just yet; it just wouldn’t be a surprise!
